Hosting accounts are activated immediately after the order process is completed.

Note: If you have also requested domain registration, until the domain's DNS propagation, you will be able to access the account using temporary addresses (information in the welcome email).

DNS propagation typically takes between 12 and 48 hours.

In the case of transferring a domain such as .com, .net, .org, .info, .eu, etc., the time required for the transfer is added, calculated from the moment the owner confirms the transfer.

.ro domains are registered immediately after completing the order, with a payment term of 15 days from the date the registration request is sent to us.

During this period, the domain is reserved in your name. If payment is not made within the 15 days, DDS in partnership with ROTLD will cancel the registration of your domain without prior notice.

You can make the payment using the following methods:
- Bank transfer
- Credit or debit card
- PayPal
- Bank transfer or cash deposit using the following details:

For payment by card and PayPal, please access the client area (http://manage.dds.ro/).

Important! If you make the payment by bank transfer/check deposit, please send a copy of the proof of payment or, in the case of payment via e-banking, a print screen confirming the transaction, to comercial@dds.ro.

The steps to change nameservers for .ro domains are:
1. Access rotld.ro or your domain provider.
2. From the top menu select Domains .ro > Online Administration.
3. Enter your domain name, enter the admin password, then click Continue.
4. Click on Nameservers, make the changes, and click Update.
5. If you don't have the domain admin password, use "Password Recovery" and you'll receive the password to your registered email address.

For changing nameservers for domains with extensions like .com, .net, .org, .info, .eu registered through dds.ro, it can be done via the client interface or by contacting the technical department via email at tehnic@dds.ro.

Creating email accounts is done through cPanel. Go to the Email section > Email Accounts. Enter the chosen name for the address, the password, and optionally, you can set a storage limit for stored messages. After creating the accounts in cPanel, you can configure them in your email client (Outlook, Outlook Express, Thunderbird, etc.).

This is not possible because the name of a domain (regardless of the extension) once registered cannot be changed.
